The Caesars Palace App has been updated for iPhones to be prettier and now enjoys the ability to hook into your Total Rewards account and the most old feeling reservations system I’ve ever seen. In fact, I’d close out of the app to open Yelp or Open Table to make a reservation or just place a call from the app.
The app is useful if you want to learn about and navigate the massive Caesars Palace property. This property is huge and poorly laid out, so having a little help is always good – especially for the first few trips. The app is FREE, so might as well download for the navigation alone.
Hooking into the players club, Total Rewards, is also a nice feature. Again, since this app is free I say check it out and learn your way around Caesars Palace. Once you figure that our you’ll probably just want the Total Rewards app to see if you have any comps from blowing away your money on penny slots.
Good: Total Rewards access with update
Bad: No updates (and no Total Rewards) for Android users.
Indifferent: Most of the app is useless and the reservations interface is feels as if it was designed in 1982.
